1st Ear Infection :(

Well we just got back from the doctor and Zuri has her first ear infection...in both ears. Her temparture reached as high at 102.2. She is such a trooper she doesn't even act like anything is wrong. She is playing just as hard. Please pray this is not the first of many ear infections.

9 months

What a beatutiful baby, what a beautiful girl!

Zuri has already found out how to pull out everything in her room. She enjoys pulling her books off the shelves then she heads to her toy box and pulls all the toys out...then she's done and ready for something else. Oh, how fast she learns.

Zuri loves to help mommy fold clothes
Zuri's new play toy...the car seat. She absolutely loves playing in her carseat.
Zuri is growing so fast, but is still very petite. At her 9 month appointmnet she weighed 16 lbs...I guess she will always be petite. She is scooting around very fast but has no interest in walking yet. I was so sure she would be walking by Halloween, I guess I was wrong. She has just now started letting us walk with holding her fingers. I don't want to rush it because I know once she starts there is no stopping her.

8 Months

I know this is a little late. Sorry :) Here are some pictures of Zuri at Great Granny's and hanging out at home. She had so much fun at Great Granny's. She has never been fed so well as she was there. She had homemade potatoes, blackeyed peas, and beats. She was SPOILED rotten by the time she got home.

I can't believe she is 8 months old. Where has the time gone. She will be a year old before I know it.

Miss Piggy

Here is a new picture from our wonderful sitter and friend, Delana.

Waiting on Mommy

Delana sent me this picture and titled it "Waiting on Mommy". I just had to share. I thought it was so cute.

She also sent me this video of Zuri giggling while they were waiting on me.

Peas

Well we have decided to venture into feeding ourself. Zuri absolutely loves it. She digs right in as soon as I put her food in front of her. She can feed herself peas, carrots, and potatoes. I am slowly accepting the mess that is made. I know she really enjoys it and learns from it.
