Good Student

Zuri went to meet my other babies today. She was such an angel. I just hope she is always this good in school. I really miss my students but I am not ready to go back. I have 3 and a half weeks left andI'm already getting sad.
Everyone at school couldn't get over her head of hair.
And guess who they said she looked like...Tyler of course!

Shots!!!!

Zuri had her 2 month check up today. She is a whole 9lbs 9oz (25th percentile)...she's growing up so fast :)
At this check up she had to have her first set of shots. I was prepared since she was stuck so many times in the hospital.
This is Zuri before her shots...she had no clue what was coming her way.
This is Zuri after her shots. She was so brave but was not very happy that the mean 'ol nurse "pinched" her.

Happy Two Months!!!!

YAY!! I made it...2 months old!!!
I can't believe Zuri is already 2 months old. She has been such a blessing to us. She is so much fun to watch as she smiles in response to our voices. It just melts my heart when she laughs and giggles while we play together.

Meeting Great Granny

Four Generations of Ferrell's.

Zuri met her Great Granny for the first time last weekend. Granny thought the world of Zuri. Zuri makes her 4th great grandchild.

The Hospital

Wow! What an experience. Zuri's second hospital stay...unfortunately it wasn't as joyous as her first stay. We had to take Zuri to the hospital on Saturday March 7th due to her throwing up. They ran all sorts of tests on her to rule out any major problems and thank the Lord she just had a virus...thanks to her mom.

Thank goodness Tyler was there. There is no way I could have handled this on my own. I wasn't much help...all I could do was cry. It was hard to see my angel hooked up to an IV.
Poor little thing looked lost in her big hospital crib. It was too big for her but not quite big enough for me...even though I slept in it each night with her.

Her arm had to be wrapped up to keep her from pulling out her IV. She didn't know what to think about all those tubes in her arm...it was pitiful.

Thank you for all the prayers and thoughts we received during Zuri's stay in the hospital. We are truely blessed with wonderful God believing friends and family. We love you all.
