Memorial Day

Our friends Tyler, Christy (and Nolan), Lorrie (and Parker) and Daron.

Some friends of ours had a cookout and were so kind to invite us. We had a really good time. Zuri was the life of the party. She was into everything. She was a real busy body.

First Foods

We started Zuri on cereal the other day. She did such a great job. She knew exactly what to do with the spoon. I couldn't get it to her mouth fast enough.

Bling Bling

This post is just for my Nevitt Friends. Betsy and Stephanie gave Zuri these 'bling bling' pacies, so we thought we would take a picture to honor them.

Happy 4 Months Old Zuri Kate

It is hard to believe Zuri is 4 months old. She is growing so fast. We went to the doctor yesterday for her 4 month check-up. She weighs 11.8 lbs and was 24 in long. She was supposed to have doubled her birth weight, but the Dr. said it was fine because she has consistantly been in the 25 percentile. She is rolling from her back to her stomach, and sometimes from her stomach to her back, but she hasn't quite mastered that yet.

She has been such a blessing to us. We nevered imagined the love we feel.

Dedication

Zuri was dedicated on Mother's Day. It was very sweet and special. She was able to wear my Christening dress. When I was 4 months old I was Christened, so I was worried that she may not be able to wear my dress, sinces she is just now fitting into 0-3 months good. My grandmother made my dress...it is a true long Christening dress. The picture shown is with the bonnet...she did not wear the bonnet, but we took her picture in it.

Sorry I haven't blogged in a while. It has been crazy getting back in the swing of working. I leave work right at 3:30 most days and it seems like as soon as a I get home it is time for dinner, bottle, then bed. I really miss those days of staying home with her...but only 13 more schools days.

Zuri is growing so much. She is almost 4 months old...I can't believe it. She has been sleeping through the night SOMETIMES...more often than not. For Mother's Day, she gave me the best present of all...she slept from 9 to 7...and has been pretty consistent since then...please pray she keeps it up.

Here are some pictures of my sweet angel.
She is already photogenic...look at her posing.
Zuri has learned how to snuggle with her stuffed animals...it is so sweet.
Are you talking to me????
